Role OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Branch General Manager to lead and expand our operations in Shanghai, driving business growth and strengthening our presence in the Chinese market.
This is a full-time position based in Shanghai.
The selected candidate will be responsible for:Leading and managing the local branch, ensuring operational and commercial excellenceDefining and executing strategic business plans aligned with corporate objectivesDriving sales growth and expanding market share in ChinaManaging key customer relationships and developing new business opportunitiesOverseeing financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, and KPI monitoringCoordinating with headquarters and cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and performanceRepresenting the company in the local market, fostering strong relationships with partners and stakeholders
Qualifications & RequirementsProven experience in a senior management or branch leadership roleStrong background in business development, sales strategy, and market expansionMandatory experience in the power transmission sector (e.g., gearboxes or related technologies)Solid understanding of the Chinese industrial market and business cultureFluent in English; Mandarin Chinese is considered a strong assetStrong financial acumen with the ability to analyze KPIs, budgets, and profit & loss statementsExcellent leadership, negotiation, and decision-making skillsResults-driven mindset with the ability to operate effectively in a dynamic and international environment
