Electrical Services Director
Electro-technical first point of contact shoreside for the ships assigned to their management. Supports onboard electrical operations regarding any electrical systems and equipment issues issue that may require a higher level of expertise in this specific field such as automation, electronic and electrical engineering.
Provide support to the Technical Superintendent(s) in their day to day activities for any electrical issue that may require a higher level of expertise in the specific field.
Verify and approve ship's requisitions for spares, service and consumables within area of responsibility, issuing as well shoreside requests of materials and service.
Assist the Vice President Electrical Services with planning both yearly and long-term maintenance budgets for the vessels, closely monitoring monthly progress of relevant expenses.
Participate in planning and preparation, for the areas competence, dry-dock specifications, following ship's repair and maintenance during refit works, as applicable.
Cooperate with the Vice President Electrical Services and Technical Superintendents for the preparation of plans for modification/updates, to be implemented on existing vessels due to new upcoming safety regulations.
Maintain active involvement in structuring, implementing, and monitoring the company’s safety management systems within the area of assigned responsibilities. Participates in the company incident res
