In this role you lead engineering for lithium cell mass production at Sovema, shaping concepts for battery cell assembly machinery and driving technical robustness. You’ll collaborate across engineering, product management, and operations to integrate solutions and transfer knowledge. You enable effective deployment of existing battery technologies while pushing continuous improvement. The role is hands‑on, team‑based, and location at Villafranca di Verona with European cross‑site collaboration, offering a direct impact on scalable battery manufacturing.

Responsabilità
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or Automation Engineering
- Hands‑on engineering mindset with practical design experience
- Proven track record in machine concept design for high‑performance production systems
- Deep technical know‑how in battery‑cell manufacturing steps (Notching, Stacking, Winding, Electrolyte filling, Cell packing)
- Experience in designing machines with Design to Cost and optimized footprints
- Involvement in projects for gigafactories (large‑scale battery cell manufacturing)
- Ability to translate requirements into robust mechanical concepts; strong problem‑solving
- Cross‑functional teamwork experience; English‑speaking environment
