Ph3Overview /h3pYour mission /ppYou support the efficient and high-quality execution of general ledger accounting as part of an international accounting team. /ppYou independently handle all general ledger postings for several international entities. /ppYou are responsible for posting accruals, provisions, intercompany transactions, and other general ledger entries in compliance with legal requirements and internal guidelines. /ppYou serve as a point of contact for internal departments and external partners regarding inquiries related to postings, reconciliations, and balance sheet items. /ppYou analyze balance sheet and PL accounts, identify discrepancies, and support the implementation of appropriate measures to ensure financial data quality. /ppYou assist in the continuous improvement of processes, policies, and internal controls within the general ledger function. /ppYou actively contribute to the optimization and automation of our GL processes, as well as the implementation and further development of ERP systems and reporting tools. /ppYou support the preparation of monthly and annual financial statements in accordance with HGB and IFRS – especially in report creation, account reconciliation, and documentation of balance sheet items. /ppYou work closely with internal departments (e.g. AR/AP team, Controlling, Group Accounting, Tax, Treasury) and with external partners such as auditors. /ppYou ensure that all your activities in the General Ledger area comply with legal requirements, corporate policies, and compliance standards. /ppYou report to the Team Lead General Ledger. /ph3Your profile /h3pYou have successfully completed a degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field – ideally with a focus on Finance, Accounting, or Controlling. /ppYou have several years of professional experience in general ledger accounting in an international environment. /ppYou bring solid knowledge of accounting principles, financial statement preparation, and relevant accounting and tax regulations. /ppYou are experienced in working with ERP systems and reporting tools – knowledge of SAP Business by Design, Vena, or comparable systems is a plus. /ppYou have an analytical, structured, and solution-oriented approach to work, combined with strong numerical skills. /ppYou possess excellent English language skills, both written and spoken; additional languages such as German, Dutch, or French are a plus. /ppYou enjoy working in a team, take initiative, and are known for your accuracy and strong sense of responsibility. /ph3Why us? /h3pHere you can find our benefits: PTV Logistics Employees Benefits | PTV Logistics /ph3Contact Person /h3pIsabel Bender /ppRecruiting Employer Branding Specialist /p h3About Us /h3pPTV Logistics - a leading global software company for transportation logistics! /ppWe calculate and optimize route planning for logistics companies with record-breaking algorithms to maximize time and cost savings.
