Job Location: Assago (MI) What You Will Be Doing Own the product definition of new power management solutions and drive market success. Collaborate with marketing and key customers to understand system requirements. Translate marketing and system requirements into product specifications and validation plans (draft, review, maintain) for each product. Work with design, marketing, product, and test engineering teams to ensure understanding of product requirements and operating conditions. Mentor less-experienced applications engineers during product validation. Design and implement applications evaluation boards and system boards (schematic, layout, troubleshooting). Write and publish application notes and white papers to support market promotions. Assist with design-in and system-level validations on key customer programs. Travel 1 to 2 times per quarter (domestically and/or internationally) as needed to collaborate with team members or visit customers. What You Will Bring Along PhD, or Master’s degree in Electronic Engineering or similar. 15 years experience in applications engineering, product definition, or designing power management solutions. Significant experience working directly with customers in high-performance computing, industrial, automotive and infrastructure markets. Experience and knowledge of power conversion products and topologies (buck, buck-boost, boost, PMIC, VR…). Strong command of simulation and modelling tools such as Simplis, Matlab, Cadence, etc. Ability to work with cross-functional teams and to mentor less experienced team members.
