The SQE acts as the first line of defense in identifying, containing, and resolving supplier-related quality issues swiftly and effectively. /ppbResponsibilities /b /pulliLead immediate containment actions for non-conforming supplier materials. /liliCoordinate with production, quality, and logistics teams to minimize disruption. /liliPerform root cause analysis (RCA) and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA). /liliMonitor supplier performance and collaborate with the SQM to improve overall quality. /liliUtilize tools such as 8D, 5 Whys, Fishbone, and FMEA to resolve quality issues. /liliAnalyze trends in supplier defects and initiate improvement plans. /liliMaintain records of quality issues, investigations, and resolutions. /liliPrepare and present reports on supplier quality performance. /liliWork closely with procurement, engineering, production, and QA teams to align on quality expectations. /li /ulpbQualifications /b /pulliBachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality, or related field. /lili3+ years of experience in supplier quality or manufacturing quality engineering. /liliStrong knowledge of quality tools and methodologies (e.g., ISO 9001, RCA, CAPA). /liliExperience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment; experience in a medical environment is a plus. /liliExcellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills. /liliHands-on mindset with strict adherence to quality and safety standards. /li /ulpbPreferred Skills /b /pulliRoot cause and trend analysis /liliExperience with ERP and QMS systems /liliFamiliarity with automotive, electronics, and medical device industry standards /li /ulpbWhat’s in it for you? /b /pulliWork for a global technology leader /liliContinuous training at Barco University /liliCompetitive salary package /li /ulpbDI Statement /b /ppAt Barco, innovation drives us.
