Context:
As an IT Business Analyst, you will be responsible for managing the lifecycle of innovative business and functional requirements, including collection from stakeholders, definition, design, alignment, prioritization based on the product vision, and monitoring development through the appropriate methodology for each project.
You will oversee software implementation iterations, ensuring practices, rules, and values are understood and behaviors comply with Trace One’s methodology. You will also ensure that goals, scope, and product domain are clearly understood by all project team members.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead workshops with customers to capture and document requirements effectively.
* Manage multiple projects simultaneously according to the scope of work.
* Deliver system design elements, including data migration rules, business rules, prototypes, or other detailed outputs.
* Collaborate with PM, Product, Regulatory, and other departments to design solutions that meet project constraints.
* Co-design the solution with the Enterprise Solution Architect, including the Business Blueprint document.
* Refine and document detailed user requirements, providing clarity for Development and QA teams.
* Work with project teams to enforce best practices and optimize core product reuse, refining requirements with Professional Services and end customers as needed.
* Validate products during development phases following the project-specific methodology.
* Support QA testing processes, including developing user acceptance criteria.
* Assist in training efforts for Services, Sales, and Marketing teams.
* Develop and maintain PLM solution expertise.
* Contribute to business case development for innovation proposals.
* Support Sales and Pre-Sales teams on RFIs and RFPs when required.
* Coordinate with third-party entities such as system integrators and consultants.
Core Competencies:
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including technical writing.
* Ability to demonstrate software and communicate at both business and technical levels.
* Leadership skills to facilitate requirement gathering sessions.
* Quick learner of new products, systems, and technologies.
* Strong internal and external client collaboration skills, including participating in user workshops.
* Analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking abilities.
* Willingness to travel for requirements gathering.
* Experience with PLM software implementations, preferably in the Food & Beverage industry.
* Proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
Education and Experience:
* At least 5 years of experience in preparing functional requirements, working with use cases, business process modeling, and creating use-case or sequence diagrams, preferably in the Food & Beverage sector.
* Knowledge of the full SDLC.
* Experience with software design and modeling tools such as UML.
Expected to travel domestically and internationally.
