We are currently seeking a Controlling and Accounting Intern who will report to the Financial Controller as part of our dynamic team in Rome.
Your opportunity
This is a challenging position in a stimulating environment where you will support on all business controlling activities regarding the Brioni business units, collaborating in the meantime with the accounting department on specific project related to financial statement finalization and related activities.
How you will contribute
1. Manage and execute weekly, monthly & quarterly Sales reports and ad-hoc analysis
2. Perform reconciliations on actual and plan scenarios
3. Supporting monthly variance analysis and GAP analysis to annual budget, including graphs, charts and root cause analysis
4. Improving management reporting and KPI’s aligned with business strategy
5. Support the local financial teams, by ensuring the correct application of internal procedures/policies, IAS/IFRS principles and other technical issues.
6. Manage the consolidation activities and the control of financial statements uploaded into the financial system (Oracle Hyperion Financial Management).
7. Prepare additional disclosures and other analysis based on the requests received by Kering’s financial team.
8. Monitor the requests for updating HFM system, in terms of new reporting units (to be included into the business scope), new hierarchy of aggregation and changes in accounts.
Who you are
9. Bachelor’s Degree in Business Economics/Finance
10. Fluent English communication skills
11. Good knowledge in MS Office
12. Good knowledge in International accounting standards (IAS/IFRS)
13. Goal oriented approach
14. Precision and analytical problem-solving skills
15. Team-oriented with a pro-active and determined attitude
16. Ability to plan and manage multiple projects simultaneously
