We are looking for a Data Governance Specialist (Intern) to join our dynamic team and contribute to the FIELD SERVICE MANAGEMENT (FSM) program — a key initiative enabling the transition to KONE’s new Service Management System.
💼 Role Overview
As a Data Governance Specialist intern, you will support activities related to data analysis, validation, and quality assurance, ensuring consistency and integrity across our systems.
After a comprehensive onboarding and training period, you will:
* Collaborate with teams across Italy, Iberica, Europe, and KCO to define criteria and standards for Master Data fields, involving relevant business stakeholders.
* Analyze data extracted from SAP and verify compliance with KONE requirements.
* Coordinate and support data cleansing and correction activities in cooperation with cross-functional colleagues.
* Contribute to a smooth deployment of the new FSM tool by ensuring data accuracy and readiness.
🎓 Qualifications
* Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a STEM discipline (with exposure to statistics and ICT systems).
* Strong Microsoft Excel skills (mandatory).
* Knowledge of Microsoft Access and SAP environment is an advantage.
* Familiarity with data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA).
* Excellent command of English (both written and spoken); Italian and/or Spanish are a plus.
* Teamworking and collaboration in multicultural environments
* Analytical mindset and problem-solving attitude
* Attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
