What You Will Be Doing
Constructing highly precise Academic Data Reports and performing methodical analysis to identify issues, highlight irregularities, and initiate corrections within 48 hours
Delivering rapid-intervention \"rescue\" sessions and facilitating post-assessment coaching discussions to clear obstacles, distinguish knowledge deficits from mistakes, and sustain student engagement
Assessing and integrating new educational applications and materials while creating AI/LLM prototypes to advance learning methodologies and address particular obstacles
Coordinating with leadership to refine instruments, dashboards, and mastery benchmarks as the AI tutor advances
What You Won't Be Doing
Attending marathon meetings or delivering generic presentation decks with no visibility into actual results
Grading assignments, drafting lesson plans, or administering conventional educational programs—AI and innovation power our approach
Functioning at high-level strategy without execution or becoming trapped in repetitive tasks—this position is hands-on and fluid
Instructional Designer Key Responsibilities
Elevate student learning results through AI-powered analysis and immediate academic intelligence, evidenced by improved indicators such as 2× learning velocity, application engagement, lesson comprehension, response accuracy, and decreased negative learning behaviors throughout the Alpha Anywhere network.
Basic Requirements
Proven experience in data science or comparable position, education, EdTech, or a student-support capacity with both analytical and interpersonal elements
Competence in Google Sheets data analysis (lookups, pivot tables, filtering)
Strong emotional intelligence, excellent communication abilities and a child-centered coaching approach
Practical experience creating workflows and automations using AI
Nice-to-have Requirements
Foundation in learning science, educational theory, or verified success enhancing outcomes via data-informed strategies
Familiarity with Generative AI, prompting methods, and foundational coding capabilities (Python, JavaScript, etc.) for querying AI APIs

Working with us
This is a full-time (40 hours per week), long-term position.
The position is immediately available and requires entering into an independent contractor agreement with Crossover as a Contractor of Record.
The compensation level for this role is $30 USD/hour, which equates to $60,000 USD/year assuming 40 hours per week and 50 weeks per year.
