Responsibilities
* Perform work specified on repair orders efficiently and according to dealership standards
* Test-drive vehicles and use diagnostic tools to identify issues
* Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle systems including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, brakes, and air conditioning
* Communicate with Service Advisors about additional services and provide repair estimates
* Execute warranty repairs per manufacturer specifications
Qualifications
* 2+ years of Service Technician experience preferred
* High school diploma or equivalent; ASE Certification required
* B-level qualifications including diagnostics, electrical, and engine repair
* Steady hand, excellent hand-eye coordination
* Mechanical troubleshooting skills and ability to operate diagnostic equipment
* Excellent customer service skills and basic computer skills
* Positive attitude and eagerness to improve
* Ability to work in a dynamic environment and collaborate effectively with team members
* Willingness to learn new technologies and procedures
* Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
