We were meant to fly. /ppAs Supplier Quality Engineer – Service Center you will Ensure deliveries consistently meet all customers’ quality and regulatory requirements and lead preventive enhancement initiatives to incoming inspection processes. /ppYou will manage non conform materials, assuring the correct customer evaluation of the non conform parts and work tightly with SQE, Engineering and suppliers to define robust root cause and corrective actions. Job Description /ppEnsure deliveries consistently meet all customers’ quality and regulatory requirements and design preventive enhancement initiatives to incoming inspection processes and design control plans to ensure the quality of products and services /ppManage non conform materials, assuring the correct customer evaluation of the non conform parts and work tightly with SQE, Engineering and suppliers to define robust root cause and corrective actions /ppRCCA implementations creating and promoting strategies to increase the quality and efficiency of systems and products /ppMonitor customer score cards and plan preventive actions against disruptions / MRB and QN caused by suppliers /ppLead supplier incoming inspection plan strategies, readiness review and surveillance audits (at suppliers site if needed) /ppLead APQP with SQE ensuring that PPAP are approved on-site when it is required, with supplied parts BE release, contributing to the closure of the VT /ppDefining Early containment action plans to guarantee that only conform parts are delivered to the internal plants /ppHandle daily shop issues related to supplied parts by identification containment of non-compliances /ppRegular daily metric management of Supplier Quality KPIs (supplier disruptions to customers PDCA, losses / defects preventive initiatives, PQA risk mitigation, Audit findings RCCA) /ppLead with all the related stakeholders all problem-solving events to contain internal scraps and supplier escapes, find root cause and corrective action, make the risk assessment and standardize through the Lesson Learnt / FMEA /ppActive member of the Hoshin Kanri initiatives and lean development to strategic / critical suppliers /ppbQualifications / Requirements /b /ppBachelor’s Degree in Engineering or similar field or Technical Diploma with relevant experience /ppPrevious experience in Supplier Quality Management in manufacturing field /ppMechanical aptitude (e.g. understanding of mechanical processes) /ppbStrong background in GDT /b /ppKnowledge of Quality tools (e.g. PDCA / A3, Ishikawa diagram / 3x5L Why, SIPOC / Process Flow Diagram / Process Flow Chart, Production Control Plan / FMEA, APQP / PPAP, SPC / Run Charts, MSA…) /ppbFluent Italian and English /b /ppConflict management skills : support and manage differences of opinion, use consensus and collaboration to debate and resolve issues /ppWork Visa, in accordance with local regulation, is required /ppDesired Characteristics /ppbAssertiveness mindset and ability to influence others /b /ppOrganization planning ability : manage time wisely and effectively prioritize multiple competing tasks /ppProblem solving decision making : identify and solve problems, develop innovative solutions, act decisively, and show good judgment.
