Alkeria is seeking a motivated, talented Hardware Designer interested in working on image processing applications and joining a fast-growing company at our Pisa (Italy) headquarters.
Primary Job Responsibilities
* Analog and digital circuit design
* VHDL design of hi-speed/hi-bandwidth modules
* Tight cooperation with firmware and software teams
Required Skills
* Master's degree in Electronic Engineering or equivalent
* Proven knowledge of schematics/PCB design tools
* Use of common lab instrumentation (multimeter, scopes, etc.)
* Knowledge of common communication protocols (SPI, I2C, UART, ...)
Appreciated Skills
* Knowledge of methods for timing analysis in digital circuits
* Knowledge of high-speed data interfaces (LVDS, etc.)
* Knowledge of C++/C#/Python programming languages
Target Products
* Standard and custom cameras for Machine Vision applications
* High-performance equipment for in-line manufacturing defect detection
