Job purpose: Provide process chemistry support for the Caronno and Villanterio product portfolio, including management of laboratory activities aligned with site-specific needs. Engage in core MST laboratory functions such as process robustness and optimization, process investigations, and technology transfer activities. /ph3Main Activities And Responsibilities /h3ulliPerforms chemical synthesis experiments and analytical studies to support investigations and troubleshooting; synthesize impurities and standards, and qualify new suppliers as required. /liliPerforms chemical synthesis experiments for deficiency letters, carry-over studies and customer service support as required and writes the relevant technical documentation. /liliPerforms lab familiarization of existing manufacturing processes and collaborates in cross-functional projects to improve robustness as well as scale-up, industrialization, process and cleaning validation, also performing modeling software designed scale down experiments. /liliPerforms lab familiarization and collaborates in process scale-up and technology transfer of either new product (from RD) and/or existing commercial product (from TAPI Manufacturing Sites). /liliCollaborates with production in identifying critical operations and provides technical contribution in operational standardization. /liliCollaborates with engineering department in issuing equipment equivalency reports, also using software for process simulation and modelling. /liliOversees operations in production to guarantee standardization and reproducibility, especially in case of changes, CAPA implementations, and new productions. /liliCollaborates with production to collect process and production data (cycle times; yields) and standardize manufacturing floor operations. /liliCollaborates with production and Quality in case of deviations in production, investigations and CAPA identification. /liliParticipates in trainings to shop floor personnel. /liliCollaborates with site functions in execution of Process Qualification, Process Validation and Cleaning Validation activities with on-field supervision. /liliFinds and proposes solutions that can enhance current processes and productivity in manufacturing and collaborates with production in their implementation. /liliPerforms other duties as assigned or as business needs require. /li /ulh3Qualifications /h3pstrongEducation /strong /pulliMinimum B.S. degree in industrial chemistry, chemistry or equivalent science degree. /liliPreferred Master’s degree in scientific related area. /liliKnowledge of GMP. /li /ulpstrongSkills /strong /pulliStrong analytical and problem solving capabilities. /liliGood communication and influencing skills. /li /ulpstrongLanguages /strong /pulliEnglish (fluent in speaking and writing). /li /ulpstrongMinimum Experience / Training Required /strong /pulliPreferred 5 years of experience in API, chemical, or related manufacturing industry, in RD/MST or production department. /li /ulh3What We Offer /h3ulliCanteen /liliPolicies for caregivers and parents with flexible work arrangements /liliRecognition Program /liliWelfare Platform /liliCoffee token /liliHealth insurance with access to top medical centers /liliInclusive and multicultural work environment /liliOngoing learning and professional development programs /li /ulh3Equal Opportunity /h3pTAPI is committed to ensuring equal opportunities in the workplace.
