We are seeking an experienced QA Engineer to join the Arduino Cloud and Software team to ensure the delivery of high-quality applications. You will be responsible for ensuring all software meets internal and external specifications and user needs before release. What you'll work on
- Leading QA strategy and processes for the Arduino Cloud and Software team.
- Guiding a small team of QA engineers, fostering a culture of quality and continuous improvement.
- Defining and monitoring key quality metrics for software products and services.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to embed quality throughout development.
- Overseeing test plans and promoting test automation.
- Serving as the primary contact for software quality issues, working closely with product, support, and external teams.
- Establishing and maintaining a bug tracking process to ensure issues are documented and prioritized.
What you bring
- BS/MS in Computer Science or a related field.
- 8+ years in QA, with at least 2 years in leadership.
- Experience leading QA teams and developing QA strategies.
- Deep knowledge of QA methodologies and testing types.
- Strong communication skills and collaborative ability.
Premio Points
- Experience with backend API testing.
- Experience with performance and load testing.
- Knowledge of security testing or guidelines.
- Familiarity with Arduino and embedded programming.
- Experience in IoT.
