Description The Gritti Palace is currently recruiting for a Sales Intern. The successful applicant will be tutored by the Dir. of Sales and she/he will be part of a Sales department. It is a full-time internship (40-hour working week made of 8 hours per 5 days and 2 days off). In particular: Promote awareness of brand image internally and externally Check availability of accommodations and dates to create a better Marriott experience or event, including finding alternative dates or options if first choice is not available, recognizing opportunities to up-sell the customer and sell enhancements. Manage mailing list/database Work on “Sales Presentation” and sales reports Maintain guest loyalty to Marriott implementing new members for Marriott loyalty programs. Support Team Sales in back-office activities.
