Sr. Delivery Consultant - DevOps, WWPS ProServe

The Amazon Web Services Professional Services (ProServe) team is seeking a skilled Delivery Consultant to design, implement, and manage AWS solutions that meet technical requirements and business objectives. You will work closely with customers to gather requirements, assess current infrastructure, and propose effective migration strategies. As a trusted advisor, you will provide guidance on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices, while leading implementation, ensuring adherence to best practices, optimizing performance, and managing risks throughout the project.
This position requires an active TS/SCI security clearance with polygraph and the ability to obtain clearance for each government agency for which you perform AWS work.
Key Job Responsibilities
* Design and implement complex, scalable, and secure AWS solutions tailored to customer needs.
* Provide technical guidance and troubleshooting support throughout project delivery.
* Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and propose effective migration strategies.
* Act as a trusted advisor on industry trends and emerging technologies.
* Share knowledge within the organization through mentoring, training, and creating reusable artifacts.
Basic Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, related field, or equivalent experience.
* 5+ years of experience in cloud architecture and implementation.
* 5+ years of leading and/or participating in teams that design and implement distributed applications.
* 5+ years of experience with software development tools and methodologies.
* Current, active US Government Security Clearance of TS/SCI with Polygraph.
Preferred Qualifications
* Experience with AWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, IAM, VPC, CloudFormation.
* AWS Professional level certifications (e.g., Solutions Architect Professional, DevOps Engineer Professional).
* Experience with automation and scripting (e.g., Terraform, Python).
* Knowledge of security and compliance standards (e.g., HIPAA, GDPR).
* Strong communication skills for explaining technical concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.
* Experience leading a team of developers, architects, or administrators delivering technical capabilities to US Government customers.

Compensation
The base pay for this position ranges from $138,200 per year in our lowest geographic market to $239,000 per year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on market location and may vary depending on job‑related knowledge, skills, and experience. Equity, sign‑on payments, and other forms of compensation may also be provided, along with a full range of medical, financial, and other benefits.
