In this role you lead Occupational Health services across Italy, aligning local practice with global standards. You will act as the OH subject matter expert, working with local authorities and internal stakeholders to ensure employee health and regulatory compliance. You shape health programs, monitor metrics, and drive cross-functional initiatives to safeguard well‑being. This position offers strategic influence within a global safety and health framework and a chance to strengthen health partnerships at scale.

* Provide strategic direction and oversee OH services across Italy, ensuring compliance with local regulations and health standards
* Serve as OH subject matter expert, guiding internal stakeholders and liaising with authorities
* Maintain up-to-date knowledge of legislation changes affecting workplace health and ensure adherence to Amazon policies
* Define, monitor, and report health metrics to GMH leadership to measure program success and inform strategies
* Identify, assess, and mitigate workplace health risks (physical and psychosocial) and develop preventive programs
* Collaborate with WHS professionals, health professionals, and local authorities to localize health policies and drive cross‑functional health initiatives
Responsabilità
* Physician with Italy‑registered status and specialization in Occupational Health/Medicine
* Clinical experience and knowledge of Italy OH legislation and requirements
* Experience leading Occupational Health services
* Injury or Illness Prevention expertise (ergonomics, psychosocial, environmental risks, industrial hygiene) with preventive healthcare program delivery
* Experience managing first aid and emergency response services and standards
* Strong communication, leadership, teamwork, analytical skills, and customer focus with results orientation
* Data‑driven mindset with project/program analysis capability
* Proficient English verbal and written communication
* Ability to address executive priorities and support strategic initiatives
