This organization is characterized as a co-located & process engineering team focused on developing and supporting the rest of the organization with subject matter experts (SMEs). An organization that embeds engineering skills directly into the manufacturing value stream and enables faster decision-making and deeper process ownership and Knowledge.As a Documentation Engineer at Vestas, you will play a key role, in improving the Logistic & Handling processes within the Sites / Factories for wind turbine blades via the quality of the documentation. If you do not have a deep knowledge within Logistic and Handling of Blades you will have a high motivation to get it – go to shopfloor.Your main responsibilities:Creation and updating documentation to Shopfloor / Logistic teams (workers, quality and logistic teams) within Handling & Logistic operations.Updated documentation is always available where needed.Be loyal to the documentation principles described.Being an engaged part in getting feedback from shop floors and logistic and Logistic & Handling team on the function and quality of the documentation deliveredPerform in internal quality check of the documentation.Perform internal maturity check of the documentation up against our documented criteria described.Keep stakeholder up to date on documentation lead time.Develop training material for reading / use of the documentation packed.Collaborate closely with the documentation specialist from the other documentation teams and share lessons learned.Be part of building a culture of excellence, innovation, and accountabilityYou will have a thorough focus on modern documentation systems and material including process vision, laser systems and other digital enabling systemsInvestigating and solving production issues using structured methods such as the 5x Whys, Fishbone Diagrams.Applying continuous improvement principles using quality tools like Lean to reduce waste, improve efficiency, and ensure final product quality.Education:Bachelor engineering or alikeGB leanCourses within Technical writing or and communication.Experience:About 6 years of experience in similar roles as described aboveWorked with:Create process flowEstablish and maintain work instructions paper or digitalValidation of own workParticipate in development of Handling & Logistic documentation.Worked in a data driven organization.Optimization and standardization within manufacturing documentation with use of the toolbox also mentioned above.Important skills:Proficient writing and communication skills: Ability to simplify complex information.Technical skills: Especially important for Logistic documentation, which will involve all types of transportation and storage systems, production processes, or software systems.
