Job Opportunity: European Manager Financial Audit
We are a multinational company headquartered in the United States, operating in the industrial sector. To strengthen our structures, we are seeking to hire a European Manager Financial Audit .
The role, reporting directly to the Global VP Internal Audit, will lead the European audit function of the organization. It involves continuously evaluating the internal control structure, including operational efficiency, financial reporting reliability, and compliance with laws and regulations.
* Manage the execution of the annual internal audit plan addressing key operational and financial risks.
* Support the annual risk assessment process.
* Collaborate with internal management and external auditors regarding audit results, providing guidance on key controls, ethics, compliance, and control effectiveness.
* Conduct comprehensive reviews of the Sarbanes-Oxley Act, Section 404, operational audits, and Rapid Integration Review, with well-documented conclusions.
* Coordinate with external auditors.
* Lead continuous improvement projects within the audit function, applying the 80/20 principle aligned with the company's internal audit strategy.
* Prepare and manage the department's annual budget.
* Participate in special projects.
We are looking for candidates with a degree in Economics or related disciplines, with 7-8 years of experience in auditing roles within auditing firms or manufacturing companies. Deep knowledge of auditing principles, international accounting standards, PCAOB standards, SEC regulations, Sarbanes-Oxley Act, and COSO Framework is required. Proficiency in data analysis tools and visualization platforms like Power BI is also essential.
The role has an international scope, requiring fluent English skills. Candidates should possess leadership qualities, intercultural team coordination skills, analytical and problem-solving abilities, excellent communication skills, and willingness to undertake international travel up to 30% of the time.
