Hardware Engineer
We are looking for a curious, hands‑on and technically driven person, proactive and result‑oriented, to join our R&D team as Hardware Engineer.
What you will do
* Design embedded electronic architectures for the control of electric pumps, including fixed‑speed (ON/OFF via Triac relay or contactor) and variable‑speed solutions using Field Oriented Control (FOC) for asynchronous and synchronous brushless motors.
* Develop firmware for microcontrollers and manage their peripherals.
* Design power electronics circuits with supply voltages up to 600 Vac and implement power switching and modulation systems.
* Integrate and manage a wide range of sensors (current, voltage, temperature, acceleration, pressure, flow, etc.).
* Develop HMI interfaces (keypads, displays) and implement wired and wireless communication protocols such as RS485, Ethernet, CAN bus, ModBus, BACnet, Wi‑Fi, ZigBee.
* Collaborate with mechanical engineering teams to ensure proper electromechanical integration.
* Perform laboratory testing, measurements, and validation of prototypes.
* Support EMC compliance and certification activities according to IEC/EN standards.
WHO you are
* Master’s Degree in Electronic Engineering.
* Strong knowledge of general electronics and power circuit design.
* Understanding of power switching and modulation systems.
* Experience with microcontrollers and embedded peripherals; ability to design MCU‑based architectures.
* Proficiency with electronic CAD tools for schematic design and PCB layout (OrCAD preferred).
* Basic familiarity with 3D mechanical CAD (e.g., Creo) to support collaboration with mechanical teams.
* Knowledge of EMC principles and IEC/EN regulatory requirements; RF experience is a plus.
* Hands‑on experience with electrical/electronic measurements and laboratory instrumentation.
* Good programming skills in C; knowledge of C++ preferred.
* Previous experience in R&D electronic circuit design is appreciated.
* Ability to work towards objectives and finalize tasks independently.
* Strong teamwork skills and familiarity with structured New Product Development processes.
* Good command of English.
* Agile, curious mindset with problem‑solving attitude.
