PAli Professional, on behalf of a long-established client in the bicycle industry (a manufacturer of bicycles and technical components) is searching a candidate for the position of Supply Chain Buyer. /ppbr/ppstrongKey Responsibilities /strong /pp· Forecast demand and plan inventory levels using MRP to balance cost and service objectives. /pp· Oversee procurement and sourcing activities, ensuring timely and cost-effective acquisition of materials and services. /pp· Manage supplier relationships, negotiate contracts, and monitor vendor performance. /pp· Manage product data in SAP /pp· Implement and maintain ERP or supply chain management systems. /pp· Collaborate with production, sales, and finance teams to align supply chain plans with business goals. /pp· Identify risks in the supply chain and develop mitigation strategies. /pp· Track key performance indicators (KPIs) such as order accuracy, lead time, and inventory turnover, production output /ppbr/ppstrongQualifications /strong /pp· Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field. /pp· 2-3+ years of experience in supply chain management, procurement, or planning. /pp· Industry experience in cycling, automotive or other industrial buying/planning is a plus. /pp· Proficiency with ERP systems and supply chain management software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite). SAP B1 experience is a plus. /pp· Ability to implement and apply MRP parameters, safety stocks and supply chain methodologies /pp· Use and manage of SQL query and strong excel skills required. /pp· Ability to forecast and statistically process historical data. /pp· Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles is a plus. /pp· Experience in import procedures is a plus. /pp· Strong analytical, problem-solving, and negotiation skills. /pp· Excellent communication and leadership skills.
