The role requires motivating a team, tracking attendance and workflow, and working alongside the Operations Shift Manager to highlight and rectify issues as they arise.Key Job Responsibilities
Support the development of a strong culture of health and safety practices and initiatives through compliance with legislation and policy.Support daily management of department duties.Deputise for the Operations Shift Manager as required.Carry out debriefs of all staff and ensure that paperwork is accurately and fully completed.Carry out duties in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).Assign work to staff as required to support the workflow and daily metrics.Ensure sufficient resourcing for the function, including call outs for training needs, absence and performance management, coaching, and continuous monitoring of department productivity.Assist with the training of new associates to ensure they have the right knowledge to carry out tasks required.Assist with tracking, trending and reporting of departmental metrics.Analyze and understand reasons behind success and failure in meeting departmental and Delivery Station goals.Track and report hours and schedules for associates.Follow up and solve process‐related area issues as required.Ensure equipment defect reporting is completed to a high standard.
We are offering a full time position.We are open to hiring candidates from the following location: Heathwood, QLD.Basic Qualifications
Experience in warehouse operations.Work a flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays.Can lift up to 49 pounds, stand/walk during shifts lasting up to 12 hours, and frequently push, pull, squat, bend, and reach.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in logistics.Experience with data analysis.Experience managing teams.
