Department Description: Supply Chain Operations is part of Vestas' growing and evolving Service Business Unit. The department runs our warehouse operations, the backbone of our supply chain, in our Mediterranean (MED) sales business unit. Our MED Warehousing & Operations team supports the business by securing timely availability and reliability on delivery of spares, main components, and tools. We are looking for a Production Planner to be mainly in charge of the operations in Italy and provide support to a different region if needed.
The Production Planner will work with Supply Chain Global Planning to coordinate activities up to the shipment of finished goods, review and adjust the production plan to accommodate changes in sales projects, and maintain optimal flow and inventory levels of raw materials. This role is located in TARANTO office.
Responsibilities
* The ideal candidate will coordinate Supply Chain activities up to the shipment of finished goods and ensure 100% on-time delivery to customers.
* Plan production activities and collaborate with Supply Chain Global Planning to share production performance updates and address potential issues and solutions.
* Review and adjust the production plan to accommodate changes in sales projects while maintaining optimal raw material flow and inventory levels.
Qualifications
* University Degree (Management Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management or similar)
* Minimum 3 to 5 years of prior experience in a similar role
* Fluency in English
Competencies
* Proficiency with enterprise systems such as SAP/APRISO
* In-depth knowledge of ERP/MRP systems
* Solid leadership, communication skills
* Proficient in Microsoft Office, with data analysis and reporting skills
* Solid understanding of industrial processes
* Proficient time management, task prioritization, and attention to detail
* Experienced collaborative worker
