Job Title: Country Manager - ItalyLocation: Malta/ London - Hybrid working

This ensures that NetBet operates in line with the rules and regulations of each jurisdiction and that players receive the best possible service.Role Overview:We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Country Manager – Italy to join our Management Team, driving the company’s growth and operations within the Italian market. In this key leadership role, you will be responsible for developing and executing the local business strategy while aligning with our global vision.Duties and Responsibilities:Market Strategy Business Growth
Define and execute the local market strategy, ensuring alignment with global objectives.
Continuously monitor competitive positioning, market trends, and regulatory changes, adapting strategy and tactics accordingly.
Develop and oversee the commercial and product offering for the Italian market to drive growth and market penetration.Marketing Brand Development
Work with marketing teams to define and implement amarketing and brand strategywith an optimal media mix to maximize player acquisition while ensuring a healthyROI .
Expand market reach throughaffiliate partnershipsand strategic distribution initiatives.
Oversee all above-the-line marketing activities and manage commercial and contractual relationships with localmedia, PR, and creative agencies .Operational Financial Performance
Develop and implementoperational and tactical plansin collaboration with Central Service Departments, ensuring strongfinancial controlsand adherence to performance standards.
Manage annualbudget planning, monthly business reviews, and revenue forecasting, optimizing financial performance.
Monitor and analyzefinancial resultsagainst business plans, adjusting strategies as needed and reporting toSenior Management .Data-Driven Decision Making Product Optimization
Collaborate with theBusiness Intelligence teamto gain insights into player behaviour and market-specific trends, ensuring continuous strategy refinement.
Work closely with theProduct teamto enhance the full player journey, implementing continuous improvement initiatives that driveacquisition, conversion, onboarding, retention, and player lifetime value .Leadership Cross-Functional Collaboration
Provide strategic leadership and direction tocross-functional teams, ensuring alignment across departments.
Work withall stakeholdersto optimize synergies and drive efficiency.
Establish and oversee additionalmarket-specific operational processes, reporting, and analyticsto support decision-making.Person Specifications:Experience in a similar senior leadership role ideally as a Country Manager for Italy market within the iGaming/ Online Casino Industry.
Expertise in digital marketing, player acquisition, and retention strategies
Deep expertise and proven experience in navigating and operating within the Italian market, including regulatory compliance;
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, take swift action, and drive change to meet goals and targets.
Strong negotiation and stakeholder management skills, with experience working with regulators, affiliates, and business partners
Deep commercial acumen with a strategic mindset.
Skilled in building, fostering, and maintaining highly productive working relationships.
A proactive leader who leads by example and takes initiative.
Exceptional teamwork and collaboration abilities.
