This is a leadership role with full responsibility for site performance, safety, compliance, people management, and operational excellence. You will be the reference point for all activities related to warehousing, bulk operations, blending, filling, production, ensuring the highest standards of safety, quality, and environmental compliance. /p h3What you’ll do /h3 ul liLead and manage all site operations mainly based on warehousing of packed chemicals, while also including bulk storage, blending, filling, production activities. /li liAct as employer’s delegate for Safety and Environmental matters and Seveso at site level (Legislative Decree 81/2008, 105/2015, 152/2006, Law 231/2001). /li liEnsure full compliance with Safety, Environment, Quality, Sustainability, and SEVESO regulations and Univar group policies. /li liOwn and drive site performance, KPIs, cost control, budget planning, and continuous improvement initiatives. /li liOptimize stock levels, inbound outbound flows, and operational efficiency in collaboration with Supply Chain and Transport departments. /li liLead CAPEX proposals and implementation based on safety, environmental, and operational needs. /li liManage, develop, and coach the site team, ensuring high engagement, performance, and capability growth. /li liAct as main interface with authorities and public administrations (ARPA, ASL, INPS, INAIL, Labor Inspectorate, Guardia di Finanza, etc.). /li liRepresent the company during inspections, audits, and regulatory interactions. /li liEnsure correct management of dangerous goods, waste operations, UTF products, and major accident risk prevention. /li liOversee training plans, safety drills, emergency response readiness, and compliance audits in collaboration with EHS and Quality departments. /li liDrive improvements in quality, safety, environmental performance, and sustainability. /li /ul h3What you’ll need /h3 ul liBachelor’s degree in Operations or Logistics Management; preference will be given to candidates with degrees in technical or scientific fields such as Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering etc. /li liMinimum 5 years’ experience in site, plant, warehouse, or operations management within chemical, industrial, logistic warehouse or regulated environments. /li liKnowledge of Italian safety, environmental, and SEVESO regulations is a plus. /li liProven leadership experience managing teams in complex operational environments. /li liExperience with SAP and operational reporting tools. /li liFluent Italian and good command of English. /li liExcellent analytical‑thinking, problem‑solving, decision‑making, communication, and stakeholder management skills. /li /ul h3Where you’ll work /h3 pThis is an bon‑site /b opportunity.
