OpportunityWe are looking for a Supply Chain Engineering Manager. The Supply Chain Engineering Manager is responsible for the design, optimization, and transformation of the end-to-end supply chain, with a specific focus on logistics network design, operational processes, and planning systems.
Your responsibilities will be:Logistics Footprint Design and Optimization:Lead logistics network redesign projects (manufacturing plants, distribution hubs, regional warehouses)Analyze make-or-buy decisions, centralization vs. decentralization, and nearshoring strategiesEvaluate alternative scenarios through simulation models (costs, service level, lead time)Support strategic decisions regarding production capacity and geographical allocation
End-to-End Supply Chain Optimization:Map and redesign E2E processes (from suppliers to end customers)Identify inefficiencies and bottlenecks across the entire value chainImprove material, information, and planning flowsPromote Lean initiatives and continuous improvement programs
Planning Systems Evolution:Define and implement advanced planning models (Demand, Supply, Inventory)Lead projects for the implementation or optimization of APS systems (e.g., SAP IBP, Kinaxis, or equivalent)Integrate S&OP/IBP processes with execution (MPS, MRP, DRP)Ensure data quality and planning parameter governance
Advanced Analytics and Modeling:Develop quantitative models for: inventory optimization, network design, what-if simulationsUse data analytics tools to support strategic decision-makingCollaborate with IT and Data teams on digital and predictive solutions
Project Management and Transformation:Lead global or multi-site supply chain transformation programsCoordinate cross-functional teams (Operations, Procurement, IT, Finance, Sales)Manage internal and external stakeholdersEnsure adherence to timelines, budgets, and expected benefits
Governance and KPIs:Define and monitor key supply chain KPIs: Cost-to-serve, End-to-end lead time, Inventory (DOH, turns), Service level (OTIF)Measure benefits generated by implemented projectsSupport top management in strategic decision-making
To be successful in this role you'll need to have:Degree in Management Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, or related field. Master's degree/MBA or certifications (APICS, Lean Six Sigma) are considered a plus.At least 7 years of experience in: Supply Chain Engineering, Network Design, Continuous Improvement / Operations Consulting.Experience in complex manufacturing environments, preferably: professional equipment (Ho.Re.Ca.), electromechanical industry, vending machines / automated dispensing systemsExperience in network optimization and simulation tools (e.g., Llamasoft, AnyLogistix, or similar)Advanced knowledge of end-to-end supply chain processesExperience with ERP and APS systems (SAP, IBP, APO, or equivalent)Strong analytical skills (advanced Excel, SQL, BI tools)Strategic thinking and results orientationLeadership and ability to manage complex projects
Nice to have:Familiarity with global multi-tier supply chainsKnowledge of complex electromechanical products (professional coffee machines, vending machines)Experience with spare parts and service supply chainsUnderstanding of Ho.Re.Ca. and OCS (Office Coffee Service) market dynamics
