We are looking for a motivated and hands-on Industrial Engineering Intern to join our Plant Engineering team in Melano (AN), with a focus on automation and digitalization.
The IE Intern supports the Plant Engineering team in projects related to automation and digitalization of manufacturing processes, with a strong focus on hands-on learning and close mentoring.
Responsibilities
Assist in defining technical specifications and validation processes for new equipment and tooling, while supporting offer evaluations and participating in supplier sourcing and selection activities.
Support the preparation and development of business cases for the optimization of industrial processes.
Participate in and contribute to automation and robotics projects under the guidance of the project team and manager.
Assist in the definition and implementation of digitalization and innovation projects.
Assist in monitoring the implementation of standard (STD) processes and propose ideas for improvements.
Participate in continuous improvement activities aimed at optimizing direct and indirect productivity.
Currently studying a Master's degree in Engineering – preferably in Computer Engineering, Electronics, Mechanical, Management, or Automation Engineering.
Languages: Italian; a good level of English is preferred.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Good knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint).
Ability to work in a fast-paced, structured environment.
Strong communication skills and willingness to collaborate across departments.
