As an IT Audit Manager at Zurich, reporting to the Head of Audit, you will be part of a global Audit team of 250 colleagues across 33 countries, dedicated to keeping Zurich safe.
This role combines IT and Operations audits, leveraging your technical expertise to oversee end-to-end audit engagements across Europe, North America, Latin America, and Asia Pacific. You will collaborate with various stakeholders, providing insights and driving excellent audit outcomes.
Your key responsibilities include :
* Providing expertise in audit processes, including scoping, reporting, and stakeholder meetings.
* Participating in risk-based IT and integrated audits to evaluate IT governance, risk management, and controls.
* Managing straightforward assignments independently with guidance as needed.
* Conducting fieldwork, including interviews, evidence inspection, and control observations.
* Overseeing the tracking and closure of audit actions.
* Supporting the evolution of IT capabilities within Group Audit and developing the team through upskilling.
* Identifying trends, influencing stakeholders, and understanding organizational risks.
* Contributing to control environment reporting and building industry knowledge.
* Developing relationships with Business and IT stakeholders.
* Guiding and supervising team members during audits.
Qualifications for success :
* University degree and professional certifications such as CISA, CISSP, CISM, or equivalent.
* Over 5 years of experience in Audit, Technology, or IT Risk Management, or significant experience in insurance roles.
* Knowledge of Italian regulations (e.g., IVASS).
* Deep expertise across IT domains and data analytics skills.
* Experience with controls in Cloud, Data Management, Cyber Security, and emerging technologies like AI and Robotics.
* Experience with third-party, outsourcing, and project management audits.
* Strong understanding of Internal Audit Standards and internal controls.
* Excellent project management, organizational, and prioritization skills.
* Collaborative, solutions-focused mindset with influencing abilities.
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
* Fluent in English and Italian.
Work location is Milan, with potential travel within Europe.
