You will be responsible for journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, financial analysis, and oversight of accounting outcomes produced by other teams. We are looking for accounting knowledge, the ability to coordinate across multiple remote internal partners, and responsibility for period‑end close processes to deliver accurate financial information. /p pYou will report to the GAC Manager and be located in Monfalcone, Italy. This is a hybrid role based in Monfalcone, Italy, with a requirement to work onsite 2 to 3 days per week. /p h3Key Responsibilities /h3 ul liEnsure compliance with US GAAP, Local GAAP, and company accounting policies in all journal booking activities /li liPerform monthly, quarterly, and annual GL journal entries and support month‑end close processes to ensure all required entries are posted accurately /li liPrepare monthly balance sheet reconciliations, investigate discrepancies, and coordinate resolution with relevant teams /li liOversee financial accounting outcomes of business processes performed by other teams, including Fixed Assets, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Project Accounting, consumable inventories, HR payables, and intercompany invoicing /li liEnsure timely and accurate completion of statutory and statistical reporting, including Intrastat, Istat, Banca d'Italia, and related requirements /li liSupport Global Treasury activities, including bank reconciliations and weekly and month‑end cash forecasting /li liSupport Global Tax by providing requested financial information /li liSupport the statutory financial statements preparation process and support internal and external audits /li liConduct ad hoc financial analyses /li liCoordinate with shared services, global finance teams, and remote partners to resolve accounting issues and ensure smooth financial close /li /ul h3Qualifications /h3 ul liBachelor's degree (Laurea Triennale) in Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field /li li5 to 7+ years of experience in accounting or finance roles /li liItalian Chartered Accountant preferred, or equivalent professional experience /li liKnowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting standards /li liAdvanced proficiency with MS Office applications, particularly Excel /liliExperience working with ERP systems (SAP preferred) /li liExperience within global organizations, including standardized financial processes and interaction with shared services and business unit finance teams /li liExperience with Italian GAAP, project accounting, and revenue recognition under percentage of completion is a plus /li liExperience operating in a non‑transactional oversight role, ensuring accuracy and completeness of activities performed by others /li liFluent in Italian and advanced English proficiency (C1) /li /ul pEmployment opportunities may require access to information which is subject to the export control regulations of the United States.
