Today we offer our customers solutions that feature a seamless blend of diverse technologies, ensuring optimal interfaces, along with flexible implementation and real synergy in innovation.For our Savigliano site in Italy we are currently looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Supplier Quality Serial Life Engineer / Professional.Purpose of the jobApply and deploy Serial Supplier Quality Assurance policy in collaboration with ProcurementResponsible for Non-Conformity Report management and Supplier performance for a precise scope of suppliers/projects, after the product validation, the First Article Inspection (FAI) + 3 deliveriesPerform inspections for low-critical partsManage Quality performance of assigned SuppliersManage Incoming Inspection activities when appointed SQ inspection leader for the given siteMain responsibilitiesSQ Serial Performance managementResponsible for day-to-day Non-Conformity management, informing the supplier of NCRs, replacing defective parts and implementing containmentAnimate Non-Conformities Report treatment by setting up relevant action plans to reach NCR targetsInvoice the Cost Of Non-Quality (CONQ S1) to the suppliersEnsure management of Supplier waivers for the assigned scopeContainment actions: Organize the retrofit to be performed by the supplierDecide on a quality wall if necessarySolving issues & Continuous Improvement: Secure timely and complete supplier containment actions to protect the manufacturing line; challenge suppliers to implement corrective and preventive actions; verify effectivenessCheck the effectiveness of the supplier CAPA, request evidences, and perform supplier visits; ensure sustainability of the control plan with regular follow-up on main suppliersSet up and manage supplier improvement roadmaps for non-performing suppliers according to the Supplier Quality escalation process (Green / Yellow / Red)Organize reviews with suppliers and visit suppliers' premises as necessaryInspection of low-critical parts: Ensure performance of inspections for low-critical parts; verify effectiveness of CAPA and ensure control plan sustainabilityFor trusted suppliers: participate in Return Of Experience (REX) analysisPrepare and monitor supplier Quality reviews at unit level to tackle top issuesEducational requirementBachelor's degree in Quality or Engineering or equivalentFamiliar with supplier qualification standards (ISO, ASME, IRIS, Local Standards, etc.)ExperienceExperience in QualitySee related Quality & Continuous Competencies Matrix8D MethodologyPersuasive and resilientAt Alstom Transport, we offer you the opportunity to unleash your potential and reinvent yourself.
