PpInstrumentation engineer is responsible for activities related to its discipline within a project. He/She as part of a group of automation engineers assigned to the project, prepare deliverables and execute activities belonging to electrical discipline in compliance with safety and technological requirements and standards defined for the project. /ppHe/She reports to the Head of Department, while reports to the Instrumentation Discipline Leader assigned to the project for the project related activities. /ph3Requirements /h3ulliBachelor’s Degree in Automation Engineering. /liliExperience in engineering design in Oil Gas or Power sectors is preferred. /liliProactivity, sense of initiative, ability to work independently and in a team. /liliFluent in Italian and English (written and spoken). /liliAvailability to short and long term national and international business trips. /liliWe encourage candidates who may not meet every single requirement to apply, as we provide opportunities for growth and learning. /li /ulh3Key responsibilities /h3pGuided by the Automation Discipline Leader, Automation Engineer main tasks during project execution are: /ph3Develop the discipline deliverables such as: /h3ulliSingle Line Diagrams /liliLoad schedule/ Plant load balance /liliNetwork studies and calculations (Load flow, short circuit, stability, protection settings, harmonics, etc.) /liliElectrical equipment specifications for MV and LV equipment such as Motor Control Centers, switchgears, metering panels, transformers, UPSes, VFDs, motors, heaters, etc. /liliEarthing, lighting, tracing systems /liliCCTV, Public Address systems /liliElectrical cables routing, power distribution /liliElectrical layout drawings /liliField installation details /liliField equipment and accessories MTO /liliTechnical specifications / data sheets for field and control room instrumentation. /liliSizing and calculation of flow elements, control, and safety valves. /liliProcess hook-up sketches and relevant bill of materials. /liliInstrumentation cabling, wiring, junction boxes, power supply and distribution, UPS, and associated TCP/IP, SCADA, Modbus networking (switches, routers, Ethernet, fiber optics, etc.) /liliInterlock and control logic diagrams. /liliInterlock and control narratives. /liliDistributed Control Systems (DCS) /liliSafety Instrumented Systems (SIS) /liliPackages and/or Machinery controls and protection systems /liliControl and instrumentation design on Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (PIDs) /liliFire and Gas detection and protection systems /li /ulh3As part of the Department the Automation Engineer: /h3ulliProvides feedback to Instrumentation Discipline Leader to increase efficiency of the group assigned to the project. /liliReceives continuous training on the job according to the needs of the Department acquiring competences and shared experiences. /liliKeeps him/herself updated about the electrical design. /liliPursues the continuous improvement of his/her proficiency and technical competences. /liliHe/She can participate to manufacturer inspections. /liliHe/She can assist the pre-commissioning/commissioning supervisor and start-up supervisor for all those activities related to plant process automation. /li /ul /p #J-18808-Ljbffr
