We are looking for a strongChief Machinery and Packages Engineer /strong for a long-term, full-time position. /ppbr/ppNote: This position focuses strictly on full technical execution and delivery responsibility for assigned project scopes, rather than hierarchical people management. /ppbr/ppstrongKey Responsibilities and Duties: /strong /pullistrongProject Delivery Ownership: /strong Ensure all activities related to the Machinery and Packages engineering discipline on assigned projects are efficiently and cost-effectively executed in full compliance with contract specifications, quality standards, and safety/environment requirements. /lilistrongTechnical Assurance: /strong Lead the Technical Assurance process for the assigned project. /lilistrongSchedule Cost Control: /strong Prepare deliverables planning in line with the project schedule, monitor progress deviations, and set up clear recovery plans when necessary. /lilistrongMan-Hour Tracking: /strong Plan and control discipline engineering man-hours against the schedule and budget, rigorously monitoring spent vs. earned hours. /lilistrongDeliverables Approval: /strong Review and formally approve all discipline outputs, including technical specifications, mechanical data sheets, inspection data sheets, material requisitions, and technical bid evaluations for equipment. /lilistrongProcurement Subcontractor Supervisions: /strong Oversee the overall Material Requisitions process for mechanical equipment (MR issue, technical bid evaluations, vendor follow-up, and review of vendor technical documentation). Coordinate engineering subcontractor activities and interface directly with suppliers to resolve technical issues. /lilistrongClient Interface: /strong Act as the primary technical point of contact and key person for the Client regarding the Machinery and Packages scope. /lilistrongOptimization Constraints: /strong Analyze project constraints to solve engineering development issues promptly and propose design optimizations or changes to minimize quantities/costs or optimize schedules. /lilistrongShop Inspections Site Support: /strong Attend main inspections and tests in vendor shops. Provide technical support to the Site Technical Office during erection and commissioning phases. /lilistrongTender Claims Support: /strong Review tender documentation and prepare technical clarification requests during the bid phase. Support the Project Management Team in handling disputes or claims (evaluating new scopes of work, cost/time impacts, and risk evaluations) and assist the Construction Department with work requisitions. /li /ulpbr/ppstrongYour Profile: /strong /pullistrongExperience: /strong strong10-15 years of long-standing experience /strong in Machinery and Packages Engineering within the Oil Gas, Petrochemical, or Energy sectors.
