During this curricular internship in Export & Import Controlling, you’ll have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience with customs regulations, preferential origin and “Made in” procedures, and actively support the control of incoming and outgoing goods flows.
What you’ll do:
* Deepen your understanding of EU regulations on preferential origin and Made in, and apply them to company products through document analysis and internal tools (ERP systems, Excel).
* Collaborate with various internal departments (e.g., costing, bill of materials) to gather data and reconstruct the product’s supply chain.
* Learn how to read and manage key customs documents, such as invoices, export declarations, and MRN closing statements.
* Explore the concept of dual use and help assess product compliance with EU export control regulations.
* Support administrative activities related to customs processes, client/supplier checks, and MRN closures.
What you’ll learn:
* How international trade is managed in a real operational context.
* The basics of customs compliance and export/import control.
* How to work with structured company systems and collaborate across departments.
Qualifications
✅ You’re a good fit if you:
* Are studying Economics, International Trade, Law or related fields.
* Are interested in logistics, customs regulations or compliance.
* Are detail-oriented, curious, and enjoy working with documents and data.
