Temporary assignment (6 months) for a prestigious and stable Automotive OEM which is looking to hire an experienced HR Consultant to help them stabilize HR Operations and facilitate a solid foundation for the permanent junior HR hire.Excellent and challenging temporary project for seasoned HR professionals with experience in Italian Labor Law and CCNL Metalmeccanico.This is a dual HR and Office Management role.Main overview:Being local HR point of contact for the Italian team.Handle day-to-day office management tasks (supplier coordination, facility issues, administrative support).Provide immediate support for employee questions and operational issues.Ensure continuity of office operations.Additional activities will include:Day-to-day operations Manage daily HR operations (employee queries, leave, contracts, ER cases) Oversee Milan office management (suppliers, facilities, invoices, admin) Act as on-site HR/Office contact (4 days/week) Provide immediate operational supportImmediate priorities Payroll transition HR audit: Identify gaps, ensure Italian labor law compliance, organize employee files, improve contract management Handover: Complete transition from previous manager within first 2 weeksFoundation building Document HR processes (procedures, templates, instructions) Create Italian labor law guidance and adapt policies locally Define job descriptions Set up H&S training and tracking Establish compliance calendarRecruitment & training Hire HR Generalist (3–5 years experience) Provide 2–3 week handover and ongoing support setupRequirements:Based in Milan and able to go to office location 4 days a week.Able to invoice the company directly.
