Senior Project Manager – Europe (f/m/d) Hitachi Energy is looking for a Senior Project Manager – External Operations to join our PMO in the Product Line Power Transformer (PT) team. As the Senior Project Manager, you will support the expansion of our global PMO in the Product Line Power Transformer (HUB EUC) and facilitate setups in European PT factories and global support for integrating a new Business Unit Service into our European PT business. How You Will Make an Impact Lead the project team and coordinate an effective project plan with the factories with high freedom to achieve goals. Lead project planning and execution sustainably, timely and with consideration for all ongoing planning and production processes. Prepare ongoing project data clearly and meaningfully for regular reporting/review for management at all levels. Be the sole contact person for all aspects of this complex implementation task, requiring tact, experience and determination. Ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental policies throughout the project lifecycle. Mentor team members, providing guidance and fostering a culture of continuous learning and collaboration for professional growth. Be a strong leader and defender of all interests of the HUB and BU in subsequent implementation and supervision in cooperation with project partners. Your background Degree in Engineering, Business Administration or related field. 5 years of project management experience with a proven track record of managing complex projects from initiation to completion (Service experience welcome). Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide cross‑functional teams toward successful project outcomes. Excellent verbal and written communication skills to convey project statuses to stakeholders at all levels. Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to identify risks, develop mitigation strategies, and adapt to changing project requirements. Hitachi Energy Senior Project Manager certification (or willingness to achieve) is a powerful plus.
