Ph3Overview /h3pThe position is permanent, and the preferred location is Trieste, Italy. /ph3What you will be doing /h3pAs an Automation Engineer, your work will include electrical and automation design for our Propulsion Control Systems products. On a typical day, you might be involved in the creation of electrical drawings for our PCS equipment and the preparation of technical documentation for our customers. You will not be working on this alone, even though the work requires a high level of independence, as you will have support from the complete PCS team, which includes engineering as well as product development. /ppIn the PCS team, our mission is to provide market-leading systems for manoeuvrability, station keeping, and control of vessels in maritime industries. The Propulsion Control System covers the local and the remote control systems for all Wartsila Propulsion equipment. The local control systems are cabinets that are delivered with the respective propulsion unit and, are the brains of the propulsion unit and communicate with the remote control system.
