Job DescriptionMangia's Resorts is looking for an Assistant Event Manager to join the MICE department within the Operations area. The role offers the opportunity to assist with the planning and execution of high-profile events in one of our prestigious properties, contributing to the creation of memorable experiences that reflect the elegance and authenticity of Italian hospitality.
Key ResponsibilitiesEvent Execution: Manage events together with the Event Manager from concept to completion, aligned with brand standards and guest expectations.Vendor Coordination: Source, negotiate, and manage relationships with external suppliers and service providers.Operational Oversight: Coordinate logistics and ensure smooth execution across departments.Issue Resolution: Anticipate and resolve challenges to guarantee seamless event delivery.Sales Support: Collaborate with the sales team to develop proposals and presentations for prospective clients.Experience Enhancement: Ensure each event reflects the brand's commitment to excellence and emotional guest connection.
RequirementsMinimum 2 years of experience in event planning or MICE coordination within upscale or luxury hospitality.Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with attention to detail.Excellent communication and negotiation skills.Fluency in English and Italian; additional languages are a plus.Ability to work under pressure and adapt to dynamic environments.Proficiency in event documentation and reporting tools.
