Role We are looking for a Field IT Technician with experience in IT desktop support and end-user support at large multinational companies, in order to support our customers on site in the area of Rome. Main tasks Identify, diagnose, and resolve issues in computer hardware and software in systems such as laptops, desktops, printers, mobile devices, tablets, etc. Provide general deskside support, imaging/re-imaging PCs and laptops. Coordinate with the third-party service provider for timely repair of systems under the maintenance agreement warranty, and repair minor hardware flaws if not covered. Assist in the installation of peripherals like printers, scanners, etc., and in cabling systems such as local area network cables, network interface cards, wired switches, etc. Provide smart-hands and eyes support led by a remote team for network devices and servers. Location Rome area (availability to travel in the area is required – driving licence needed). Requirements Minimum 2-3 years previous experience in the delivery of IT support services, ideally within the field. Diagnostic & support capabilities using standard Windows-based applications & tools (such as M365, Win10, AD & SCCM). Confidence in addressing break/fix issues – typically supporting PCs / laptops. Experience in OS, apps and hardware installation and troubleshooting depending on project products. Familiarity with ticketing system. Good English and fluent Italian.
