Product Marketing and Inventory Intelligence Manager - Onitsuka Tiger
We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Market Development Inventory Analyst / VMD to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for gathering, analyzing, and interpreting market data to support strategic decision-making and drive business growth.
Reports to Sales Director / Administrative Director / General Manager and CBO.
* Conduct comprehensive market research and analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and threats.
* Travel and monitor the demands of online/offline stores in EMEA, responsible for VMD (including sales promotion related tools) that align with Global HQ direction.
* Analyze the competitive landscape and provide insights on competitors’ strategies and performance.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support product development, marketing, and sales initiatives to avoid missing sales opportunities due to lack of inventories.
* Prepare detailed reports and presentations for senior management.
* Monitor industry developments and provide regular updates to stakeholders.
* Utilize advanced analytical tools and techniques to interpret complex data sets.
* Support the development of strategic plans and business cases.
* Develop the merchandise planning process for offline/online commerce.
* Establish assortment guidelines by product and store.
* Improve demand forecasting and order accuracy, and develop relevant systems.
* Perform other work as necessary when asked.
Internal: Product Marketing, Consumer Insight, Merchandise Team, Marketing and Sales, Store Managers.
* At least 10 years of experience in product management or merchandising in the FMCG industry.
* Experience with VMD in the premium lifestyle industry.
* Good understanding of the premium lifestyle industry.
* Sense of trends and developments in the premium/luxury lifestyle industry.
* Proficient in spoken and written English.
* Strong presentation skills.
* Strong analytical skills to analyze sales data and draw conclusions.
* Proficient in PowerPoint.
* Willing to travel.
* Good intercultural awareness, team player, and effective communicator.
* Strong skills in MS Office/MS Excel.
* People management and coaching abilities.
* Teamwork, creativity, flexibility, proactivity, accuracy, analytical thinking, structured approach, good written and verbal communication, stress resilience.
