Ph3Purpose of the Job /h3 pThe Mechanical Design Engineer will support the engineering team in the development of innovative railway electrification components, with a focus on improving technology, reducing costs, and expanding the product portfolio offered to the market. /p pThe engineer will be primarily involved in the bdesign, industrialization, and validation /b of mechanical components for various rail electrification systems, including: /p ul libRigid Overhead Catenary Systems (ROCS) /b /li libThird Rail Systems (TRS) /b /li libGround-level electrification solutions /b such as bAutomatic People Movers (APM) /b and bMonorail systems /b /li /ul pThis role requires close collaboration with cross-functional technical departments such as quality, industrialization, and manufacturing to address and resolve technical challenges related to the mechanical design and implementation of electrification systems. /p h3Organization Structure /h3 h3Organizational Reporting /h3 ul liEngineering and RD Manager. /li /ul h3Network Links /h3 ul liEngineering departement, Quality departement, Industrialization departement and Supply Chain. /li /ul h3Responsabilities /h3 ul liPerforming all the engineering activities in compliance with QCD commitments /li liSupporting Quality, Industrialization and Manufacturing teams during the homologation process /li liPerforming 2D and 3D drawings with Autocad and Solidworks /li liPerforming mechanical FEM simulations with Solidworks package /li /ul h3Knowledge Experience /h3 ul liMechanical engineering preferably applied to electrification products /li liknowledgeable in SOLIDWORKS FEM package or equivalent /li liBasic electric and thermal calculation skills (theoretical and numerical) /li liDemostrate understanding of basic manufacturingtechnologies /li liGood comunications and interpersonal skills including with third parties (suppliers) /li liTime management and reporting skills /li liStructured and organised with Hands-on approach /li liEnglish operational in read/writing and technical meetings /li liPreferably knowledgeable in SAP/GSI production palnning (PP) package /li /ul h3Job Location /h3 pVALMADRERA-LC Site /p pAn agile, inclusive and responsible culture is the foundation of our company where diverse people are offered excellent opportunities to grow, learn and advance in their careers.
