Responsibilities
Design and implement diagnostic functions for new and existing vehicle platforms;
Develop guided diagnostic routines to assist technicians in fault identification and resolution;
Create and maintain software patches to address urgent issues in diagnostic systems;
Collaborate with engineering teams to validate software on test benches and vehicles;
Ensure diagnostic content is delivered in line with production schedules and service requirements;
Translate validated diagnostic content into multiple languages for global deployment;
Provide regular progress updates, documentation, and performance reports.
Requirements
Strong experience in automotive diagnostic software development;
Basic knowledge in programming languages such as Java will be considered a plus;
Solid understanding of vehicle communication protocols: CAN (UDS/KWP), LIN, K-line;
Familiarity with ECU architecture and vehicle network systems (Powertrain, Safety, Comfort);
Experience with diagnostic data formats (e.g., ODX/PDX);
Ability to work independently and manage complex software lifecycles;
Fluent in English (used for documentation and development).
