Job Description
Key responsibilities:
* Decide, together with the CEO, and independently manage the BU sales strategy
* Reach agreed revenue and profitability target▪
* Manage resources and capabilities
* Maintain key clients' relationship and capture potential leads
Key activities & tasks:
* Segment and prioritize the customers' base
* Create area commercial plans to exploit cross-selling
* Approve budget for the related business geography
* Prepare sales reporting
* Capture customers feedback and act accordingly
* Define objective and goals for sales managers
* Run periodic review with sales managers
* Define and review sales forecast
* Define and validate pricing & discount strategies
* Participate in the strategic planning process and periodical company meetings
* Support sell-out effort of key distributors
* Sustain team coaching and training to improve sales force effectiveness and proactivity
* Participate in local and international events
Key interfaces:
* CEO: coordinate and submit the commercial issues arising, overall strategies and business opportunities (e.g., new market geographies) for the approval
* Marketing Director: provide input for new product strategies and market feedback on existing ones
* Head of Operations: provide accurate sales forecast to efficiently plan the production and manage efficiently logistics and stock availability
* Other geographies' Heads of Sales: cooperate in order to define a common and consistent framework for pricing & discount strategies and commercial practice to be submitted to the CEO for approval
* Head of Customer Care: share of customer feedback & insights
The Successful Applicant
Required and skills:
* At least 10+ years of "Sales Manager" or "Head of Sales experience" within multinational companies and players leader in building automation systems.
* Demonstrable experience in international sales management and business development
* Excellent communication skills and people management skills across all levels
* Demonstrated ability to drive change through influence and collaboration in a team environment.
* Strategic and futuristic thinker
* Proactivity and negotiation
* Availability to travel
