Responsibilities: - Oversee and manage the daily operations of the company’s logistics business, ensuring smooth and efficient warehousing, inventory management, and distribution processes. - Develop and implement strategic plans to support the company’s rapid business growth while maintaining high service standards for our cross-border e-commerce clients and local FMCG brands. - Lead, manage, and mentor a professional team to foster a productive and positive work environment that drives operational excellence. - Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure operational effectiveness and implement improvement measures when necessary. - Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, such as Operations, IT, and Customer Service, to meet customer expectations and optimize the company’s supply chain. - Ensure compliance with local regulations and industry standards, and adapt operational plans in response to changes in the business environment. Qualifications: - Proven leadership and management experience with the ability to manage large teams and complex operations. Experience in the express logistics industry is a plus. - Strong business communication skills in both Italian and English. - Familiarity with Italian business culture, including local communication styles and process management practices. - Excellent problem-solving skills with a demonstrated ability to enhance operational efficiency and drive strategic growth. - Experience with warehouse management systems, inventory control, and logistics software. - Proactive, hands-on, and able to adapt to a fast-paced and rapidly evolving business environment.
