Givaudan, a global leader in Fragrances & Flavors, is seeking an experienced Controller to join our dynamic team. As part of B.Kolor, a pioneering force in makeup and skincare, you will help improve financial operations, providing insights into sales growth drivers, project pipelines, cost structures, and profitability.
Main Responsibilities
* Implement monthly sales reporting: growth drivers, project pipeline evolution, and success rate with relevant insights.
* Develop a comprehensive understanding of costs across raw materials, bulk production, filling (manual, automatic, semi-automatic lines), packaging, and co-packing alternatives and provide detailed cost analysis.
* Implement Profitability reporting through product costing analysis and profitability by client, product form, and other relevant categories.
Business Planning
* Prepare the sales and operating expenses forecast (monthly, quarterly).
* Drive the yearly sales, capex, and expense budget process.
* Support the 5 years Business Plan design and implementation and yearly updates.
Process and Systems
* Support sales team with tools to define selling prices for developed products and pricing guidance for new product development.
* Work closely with the IT department to develop and enhance financial systems within the existing SAP framework.
* Assess and improve internal controls in collaboration with the Group Finance and Controlling teams of Givaudan.
Functional Excellence
* Be a co-pilot to the Managing Director to improve performance and provide financial insights to support strategic decision-making.
* Coordinate functional-related activities to ensure accuracy and robustness of financial monthly closing & reporting process through efficient employment of cost center and cost allocation principles.
* Identify any cost optimization opportunities.
Your Professional Profile
* Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; CPA or CMA.
* Minimum of 5+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment in cosmetics or skincare, chemical, or pharma. A background in business process engineering.
* Ability to interpret complex financial data.
* Proficiency in SAP and other financial management systems.
* Work collaboratively across departments.
* Italian and English required.
