Location:

Bologna or proximity, covering Central Italy and Sicily

The Surgical division of Edwards Lifesciences is a global leader in surgical structural heart solutions, focused on innovative valve technologies supported by strong clinical evidence. Edwards partners closely with cardiac surgeons to improve patient outcomes and quality of life.

The Territory Managers manages the relationship with a defined list of key Edwards customers, with the objective of growing Edwards’ share of wallet. Drives business growth by identifying, developing and closing sales opportunities within the assigned portfolio.

How you will make an impact:

Serves as the primary point of contact for the assigned customer base within the business unit, leveraging strong knowledge of cardiovascular anatomy, pathology and physiology relevant to EW Surgical products

Builds and maintains strong, long-term relationships with customers, surgeons, referrers and other key stakeholders within the assigned region to strengthen Edwards’ market positioning

Drives growth within existing accounts by identifying opportunities, addressing gaps and executing sales strategies to achieve regional targets

Develops and executes annual account and territory plans in line with regional objectives

Performs other incidental duties as required

What you will need: Bachelor’s degree in biomedical engineering or a related scientific field, with a minimum of 5 years of prior experience in the medical devices industry required

Excellent knowledge of English, both written and spoken

Willingness and ability to travel frequently within the assigned territory

Strong knowledge of own products as well as competitor offering

Solid understanding of customer organizations, healthcare systems and market dynamics

Proven ability to assess customer needs, address objections and clearly articulate product value

Strong influencing, negotiation and relationship-building skills

Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

High attention to detail

Compliance with all company policies and procedures, including Environmental Health & Safety requirements
