We’re hiring an E2E System Engineer, within the Observation system department/E2E System Design and Verification unit, to support the E2E System Engineering activities.
Task description:
* Develop scientific algorithms in the fields of SAR remote sensing, image processing, and mission analysis.
* Perform Engineering Requirements Analysis and flow-down activities.
* Develop mathematical models and budgets for optical payload performance.
* Conduct Mission Analysis for Satellite Optical Systems.
* Perform calibration activities for operational SAR Systems.
* Understand the system physical and functional architecture of satellite systems.
* Define and execute End-to-End Verification approaches.
* Write technical documents and project reports.
Personal requirements:
The ideal candidate should have a Master’s degree in Engineering, preferably with a Ph.D. Additionally, strong teamwork propensity, analytical and technical skills, problem-solving capabilities, and solid knowledge of statistical methods for analysis of scientific data are required. Open-mindedness to different cultures and a collaborative approach are essential.
Language: Fluent English, spoken and written.
