The Professional Laundry Layout Project Designer engages with dealers and consultants, understands their unique laundry requirements, and delivers customized solutions that highlight Electrolux Professional Group’s competitive advantage. The role requires a detail‑oriented, analytical, client‑focused individual who bridges technical specifications and client needs, providing outstanding support to optimize sales processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Engage with potential and existing clients to understand and assess their specific laundry needs; calculate the type and number of machines required to match capacity.
- Conduct thorough product analysis versus competitor offerings to position Electrolux as the superior choice.
- Collaborate with dealers and consultants to recommend optimal equipment solutions and maintain strong business relationships with key customers.
- Provide detailed product specifications and guidance to ensure correct configuration and utilization of products.
- Translate competitor specifications into Electrolux‑compatible alternatives, demonstrating value and compatibility.
- Develop comprehensive proposals and quotations for dealers and consultants, ensuring accuracy and competitiveness.
- Coordinate with external partners to create effective layout and MEP designs that maximize space utilization and operational efficiency.
- Analyze, update, and manage pricing structures to maintain competitiveness and profitability.
- Create and maintain a CAD and Revit symbol library to support visualization and integration of products into project designs.
- Explore new opportunities with consultants and distributors and meet new customers to expand Electrolux’ reach.
Educational Background
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
Experience
- 5–7 years in a pre‑sales, engineering, or technical sales role, preferably within the laundry equipment industry or a similar field.
Technical Skills
- Strong analytical skills for assessing and interpreting client requirements.
- Proficiency in CAD and Revit for symbol libraries and project visualization.
- Familiarity with product specification and configuration tools.
Industry Knowledge
- Good understanding of laundry systems and equipment, competitive products, and industry trends.
Communication and Interpersonal Skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills; ability to explain complex technical information clearly.
- Customer‑service orientation focused on building lasting relationships with dealers and consultants.

- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
