We are looking for a GA Shop Launch Manager
Mission
Lead the preparation, execution, and stabilization of the General Assembly Shop during new vehicle launches and industrial changes, ensuring full product & process readiness, adherence to project milestones, and a smooth transition to serial production.
Deliver results in line with Safety, Quality, Cost, Delivery, and Ergonomics standards .
Requirements
* Degree in Engineering (Industrial, Mechanical, or equivalent experience)
* Solid experience in Manufacturing – General Assembly
* Proven track record in:
* Vehicle launches and ramp-ups
* Industrial upgrades or line start-ups
* Hands-on experience in shop-floor operations and launch environments
Skills
Technical Skills
* Strong knowledge of GA processes (Trim, Chassis, Final Line)
* Expertise in line balancing, cycle time, ergonomics, and workstation readiness
* Experience with EOL systems and functional testing
* Familiarity with JES / SOW, KPI tracking, and issue escalation management
Soft Skills
* Strong operational leadership on the shop floor
* Ability to manage complexity and priorities in fast-paced environments
* Results-driven mindset with focus on process stability
* Effective cross-functional communication and stakeholder coordination
