Philogen S.p.A. would like to hire a highly motivated and qualifiedSupply Chain Manager to oversee and optimize our entire supply chain operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the chemical-pharmaceutical industry—particularly in sterile infusion drugs—and a proven track record in managing complex supply chain processes efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
* Plan, coordinate, and oversee all supply chain activities, including procurement, production, logistics, and distribution
* Collaborate with suppliers to ensure the quality and timely delivery of raw materials
* Optimize inventory management to reduce costs and improve operational efficiency
* Monitor supply chain performance and drive continuous improvement initiatives
* Lead and support the supply chain team to achieve business goals
* Ensure compliance with industry regulations and quality standards
Requirements:
* Degree in Engineering, Economics, Logistics, or a related field
* Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar role within the biotechnology or pharmaceutical sector
* Strong problem-solving and time-management skills
* Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
* In-depth knowledge of supply chain management software and ERP systems
* Ability to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
* Knowledge of biological processes is a plus
